Our San Francisco team will be sure to attend GDC and make the most of this huge five-day industry event which attracts over 28,000 attendees. As mobile advertisers who are working with a number of well-established and respected partners in this vertical, we look forward to exploring new partnerships and business opportunities with gaming companies and players within the industry.
Covering many disciplines including VR, UX and programming, the event is a hub and meeting point for the creative and business side of gaming come together to exchange ideas and shape the future of the industry. Under one roof, we’ll find programmers, artists, producers, game developers as well as business decision-makers and others involved in the development of interactive games. This means there will be a host of lectures and panels led by industry experts. As we’re just fresh off MWC in Barcelona where we dived deep into the topic of using gaming to create targeted ad experiences (you can read our trends report on the blog), we will be sure to expand our knowledge further on the other side of the pond.
Plus, as gaming lovers, we can’t wait to put on our gaming goggles (both figuratively and literally) and immerse ourselves in the gaming hub that is GDC. There will be plenty of fun and relaxed networking opportunities for indie games, retro games, alternative controllers, and more. With 550 leading companies including Amazon, Google, Oculus and Sony showcasing their latest development tools and services, there will be no shortage of exciting developments.
